I am a self-taught Australian artist who has had a passion for anything artistic since I was a young girl. My artistic career so far has included signwriting, graphic reproduction, graphic design, screen printing and publishing. I moved to the Northern Territory almost ten years ago, yet it has only been in the last twelve months that I have ventured into fine art. Most of my works are inspired by the amazing colours & landscapes of Northern Territory, Australia. I work with two main mediums being acrylics & oils. Attention to detail is paramount in every piece of artwork created regardless of the subject or medium. My personal aim is to capture the mood & atmosphere in each subject or scene. I want the viewer to believe they can feel to refreshing tropical water & smell the perfumed frangipanis. I hope to create peaceful images that can take the viewer away from the hectic day to day life to a tropical paradise, even if it’s just for a minute or two. I hope you get as much enjoyment in viewing my art as I have had creating it.
