My name is Abelien Visser and I was born in 1973.
I studied Fine Arts in Amsterdam. This education makes me a professional artist and a qualified
teacher in Art and Art History. At my graduation exhibition one of my drawings was selected for his own collection by Hendrik Driessen, director of De Pont, Museum for Comtemporary Art in Tilburg.
After my graduation I was selected by Art Primeur, an organisation that is looking for the new and
talented art generation. A succesful exhibition followed in Dordrecht.
There were plenty of possibilities for me in The Netherlands but I decided to move to Sydney,
Australia in 1997.
During my stay in Sydney I studied Graphic Design at the Computer Graphics College.
In 2002, after having lived and worked in Sydney for 5 years I moved back to The Netherlands. Back home again I started my own company in Art & Design. I work on commission for both pivate and corporate clients. My clients are Deloitte Consulting, Moluks Historisch Museum, Wehkamp, Nuwehof Real Estate, Harvist Geneva, Dutch Australian Cultural Centre, Boubeek Communicatie, African Art Products.
I also started a company in paintings and products for kids called Fish at Sea.
