About Me
[ View Member Profile]
I don't remember when I began drawing. I do remember where I drew my first picture. As far back as I can recall, I was deeply in love with the world of art. I was sitting at a small desk in Monterrey, Mexico, at La Casa De La Madre. It was a very old spanish house with many rooms, balconies, and patios. My grandmother was a social worker and helped many people who came to see her. My uncle had an art studio in the upstairs of the house. That is where I chose to spend the great majority of my time. Many years have past since then. My uncle has gone but I still speak to him through my art. Just as I speak to you now.

Puppets as they see me.
The puppets I make will be in this gallery. They are a group of puppets from different lands. They wish to share with the world the beauty of diversity. Their greatest joy is to discover the uniqueness in everyone they meet. They are in love with the world and it's different colored cultures.
Because they are puppets they can say things that humans can't.
This is what makes people love them even more. If we explore their realities we find they are linked to personalities. Some of them go far back in time. They carry with them an inner mystery of how we all connect to one another. This is why we feel they are talking to us like a real person.
In this gallery I will share the wonder of puppets.

A collection of angels from around the world.
The angels you see are not figments of your imagination. They are real people who love humanity and want to do everything they possibly can to make this a better world. They live in many different countries and although you might think they are invisible, once you know what they look like it is very possible you might actually run into one of them someday.

My definition of a Miracle;
Any kind of miracle that we can imagine is possible. This is what I am trying to express in this exhibit. A miracle is the fruit of faith. Miracle
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia;
For other uses, see Miracle (disambiguation).
A miracle, derived from the old Latin word miraculum meaning "something wonderful", is a striking interposition of divine intervention by God in the universe by which the ordinary course and operation of Nature is overruled, suspended, or modified. Although many religious texts and people confirm witnessing or prophesying various events which they refer to as "miraculous", it is disputed whether there are scientifically confirmed occurrences of miracles[1]. People in different faiths have substantially different definitions of the word "miracle". Even within a specific religion there is often more than one usage of the term.
Sometimes the term "miracle" may refer to the action of a supernatural being that is not a god. Thus, the term "divine intervention", by contrast, would refer specifically to the direct involvement of a deity.
In casual usage, "miracle" may also refer to any statistically unlikely but beneficial event, (such as the survival of a natural disaster) or even to anything which is regarded as "wonderful" regardless of its likelihood, such as birth.

Light is shed on the attitude the Greeks had toward war and battle by the characterization of the god of war, Ares, and the goddess of battle, Athena. The Greeks hated the god of war and depicted him as a bully and a coward, while showing Athena as glorious and virtuous. Unlike the Romans, who glorified Mars (the Roman name for Ares) because they intended to conquer the world, the Greeks had no desire to control the world; but neither would they lose their freedom. Thus they despised the god of war and loved the goddess of battle.
The ancient remnants that tell the history of Greece are more than ruins. They are links into yesterdays richness, todays hidden secrets, and tomorrows hope.

San Fracisco, California, is part of what is called the bay area. We have a couple of bridges that cross between San Francisco and it's surrounding communities. One of them is the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge which is frequently visited by tourist from all over the world. The bridge which connects to our city, Oakland, is called the Bay Bridge. We frequently go to San Francisco because we live so close. We can see it clearly from our back porch on a sunny day.
